How to Use StruTools Staad Tools in the Browser
The seven office VB STAAD utilities now run in the browser: take-off, member lists, REPEAT LOAD, Cb, tapered mill checks, member end forces and support reactions.
The office STAAD toolbox lived as separate VB programs. Staad Tools keeps those jobs together without a desktop install, OpenSTAAD session or SQL history logger. Each tool has its own how-to. This page is the map.
Guides for each tool
- How to use Weight Extractor — STEEL TAKE OFF TOTAL lines to tonnes, plus profile rows.
- How to use Member Splitter — one MEMBER PROPERTY line per ID, or compact TO ranges.
- How to use Repeat Load — LOAD COMB n into LOAD n COMB plus REPEAT LOAD.
- How to use Cb Value — Cb and Lp from TAPERED AISC listings, optional F2-1 check.
- How to use Built-up Check — TAPERED mill min/max limits and clear web depth.
- How to use Member End Forces — Start/End stations and the 12-row signed envelope.
- How to use Support Reactions — ANL foundation table with decimals and load filters.
What these are not
Staad Tools do not replace analysis, steel design or CAD. They rewrite or extract the same listings the VB utilities used on live models. Keep the original ANL or STD next to the CSV or converted snippet you issue.
