Using Staad2CAD
Turn a STAAD model into a drawing package, then review the geometry before export. This is a drafting workflow, not a structural analysis or design check.
Inputs And Workflow
Use one STD file, or an ANL containing its numbered model-input listing, up to 20 MB. Joint coordinates, member incidences, units and section assignments must be present. Select the X, Y and Z planes you need, choose the member presentation, then refresh the drawings after changing settings.
Try A Worked Example
The Training STD contains three frames, two 6 m bays, a 12 m span and roof bracing. Compare its Z-frame elevations with the plan and check that the two bays total 12 m. The Step-By-Step Guide shows the expected preview and export process.
Review Before Downloading
Check dimensions, section depths, member marks and table entries against the source. An analysis-results-only ANL cannot reconstruct a model. Preview and review the selected sheets before continuing to the download or payment route shown by the application. The training model is illustrative, not construction-ready.
